|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-10-04 07:05:06 |
As a Walkman phone, the new Sony Ericsson W300i from Cingular offers a viable alternative to a separate MP3 player. Praised for its design and functionality, Walkman phones such as the W600i and W810i have become best sellers, integrating features and functions without the limitations imposed on many other music phones....

No phone since the original Motorola RAZR has generated as much hype as LG's VX8500 Chocolate. It has the looks and specs to make folks drool. But does it live up to all of the hoopla? We run the Chocolate through its paces in our in-depth review to find out. ...

Samsung A870 review by phonearena
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:29:55 |
Samsung A870 is a phone that will reverberate the phrase "you get what you pay for"??or perhaps it should be "you get what you don?? pay for". The phone would have had a lot going for it, if it wasn't for the fact that corners were cut to make it a budget-priced phone....

LG VX8500 Chocolate Review by phonearena
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:27:58 |
The LG VX-8500 Chocolate is designed and marketed to customers that are in their teens to mid-20?? and are looking for an all-in-one device without having to spend a lot of money. The Chocolate incorporates a phone, camera, music player, and GPS navigation in one device. Unfortunately, the Chocolate only does some of these tasks well....

Sanyo Katana review by phonedog
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:19:15 |
Sanyo's new phone, the Katana, is named after the beautifully and brilliantly crafted swords used by Japan's legendary Samurai warriors. While comparing the design and workmanship of this phone to that of a Japanese master swordsmith might be a bit of a stretch, there are some areas of similarity....

LG VX8500 review by phonedog

The LG chocolate phone was made and released for Valentines Day, hence the name Chocolate phone. The phone got very famous quite fast because of the design and futuristic look. Although the LG chocolate phone is more famous, the Samsung E900 is a direct competitor, but which is better for you? Even though the phone is called chocolate, it sure doesn't taste like it!! ...

Cingular 3125 review by infosyncworld
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:12:33 |
Overall, the Cingular 3125 makes for a powerful business sidekick given that it's a relatively compact clamshell. Armed with Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition, the 3125 packs in push e-mail capabilities, an Office document viewer (no editing, but this is a flip-phone after all), robust contact and calendar management, and surprisingly impressive multimedia capabilities. The 3125's design is certainly unique, but never feels cheap or simply cosmetic. If you wish your RAZR could do a lot more, but don't need a full-fledged Windows Mobile device, the 3125 is an excellent choice. ...

Samsung SGH-T519 Trace review by infosynworld
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:11:25 |
Samsung has certainly succeeded at designing an ultra-slim phone packed with modern features, but the Trace stumbles when it comes to the basics. Fashion-conscious chatters interested in the slimmest of phones may forgive the so-so call quality, but the slippery buttons and poor use of screen real estate will deter IM addicts. And while Bluetooth, a microSD slot, and a 1.3-megapixel camera are all impressive features for a phone this slim and light, we can't help but be disappointed by the mediocre calling quality and lack of voice dialing....

Palm Treo700wx reivew by infosyncworld
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 20:09:19 |
More memory and speedy dial-up networking make the Treo 700wx an obvious choice over the older 700w, but the decision isn't as clear-cut when it comes to other business phones. If you require full Windows compatibility, this is a strong device, and Palm has gone to some lengths to make Windows Mobile manageable with a single hand. Unfortunately, complicated menus stymie the effort. The phone is unfortunately tethered to the fortunes of Windows Mobile -- what the system does well, like Outlook and Office, the phone does well. What makes Windows unpleasant also hampers the experience of using the Treo 700wx....

Motorola KRZR K1 Overview
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 19:54:22 |
The stylish Motorola KRZR K1 is a clamshell mobile phone which has a tall & elegant look to its design. The handset measures 103 x 42 x 16 mm in the closed position which is tall & slim from the front & easy for the user to hold & manage. The phone is very long when in its opened position which makes it easy for the user to make a call & talk into the mouth piece. ...

Cingular 3125 review by pcmag.com
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 18:19:01 |
The Cingular 3125 appeals to the heart, not the brain. It's a great-looking flip phone that feels solid in the hand, plays MP3s, and syncs easily with Microsoft Outlook. Its design is so compelling that I'm willing to overlook its lackluster smartphone performance....

SonyEricsson W800 Review
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 18:11:06 |
Editors Rating: Since I am a sucker for cool designs and new ideas, I obviously will root for the W800. The music player is lovable and so is the colorful design. If you are not a big music buff then dont even look at the W800, there are other handsets which can be purchased cheaply. For teens and music fans, the W800 is a god send. ...

Nokia N93 review by cnet.com
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 18:07:31 |
The good: The Nokia N93 is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities, and it features a cool, swivel design. This Symbian smart phone includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a music player and FM radio, and e-mail capabilities.
The bad: The Nokia N93 is clunky and heavy, making it awkward to use as a phone. Call quality was mixed in our tests, and the external display is small....

Motorola Razr V3i review by cnet.com
|
| submitted by cellsea at date 2006-09-26 18:06:10 |
The good: The Motorola Razr V3i is an attractive slim cell phone with an admirable list of features.
The bad: The Motorola Razr V3i's iTunes player has too many restrictions, and the phone's call quality could be improved. Also, we were hoping for EDGE compatibility....
