The Cingular 3125 sports a slim clamshell design; a sharp, vibrant display; and a 1.3-megapixel camera. The smart phone also has integrated Bluetooth, EDGE support, good call quality, and Windows Mobile 5 with robust e-mail capabilities and PIM functions. The Cingular 3125 has some design flaws, such as the Micro SD slot's location behind the SIM card. It was also sluggish to perform some tasks in our tests and lacks integrated Wi-Fi....

The Cingular 3125 appeals to the heart, not the brain. It's a great-looking flip phone that feels solid in the hand, plays MP3s, and syncs easily with Microsoft Outlook. Its design is so compelling that I'm willing to overlook its lackluster smartphone performance....

Overall, the Cingular 3125 makes for a powerful business sidekick given that it's a relatively compact clamshell. Armed with Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition, the 3125 packs in push e-mail capabilities, an Office document viewer (no editing, but this is a flip-phone after all), robust contact and calendar management, and surprisingly impressive multimedia capabilities. The 3125's design is certainly unique, but never feels cheap or simply cosmetic. If you wish your RAZR could do a lot more, but don't need a full-fledged Windows Mobile device, the 3125 is an excellent choice. ...

The slim "RAZR-LIKE" form factor is amazing. I haven't used a flip phone since the Motorola MPx220, so this has taken some getting used to. The 3125 is just hair over 1mm thicker than the RAZR, but remember that it packs one heck of a punch with that extra width....

The Cingular 3125 stands out from this crowd with its ultra-thin clamshell design - still a rarity in the smartphone world. Although the 3125 offers software similar to that of its predecessor, the Cingular 2125, the 3125 mixes smartphone technology with a slim clamshell design and a reasonable price to create a new entry in the mobile phone universe....

The Cingular 3125 is, like most new Windows phones, a product of HTC Taiwan. Unlike most others, however, it sports an ultra-slim clamshell design to rival the ever popular RAZR. Originally called the HTC StrTrk, similar models are also sold as the Dopod S300, Qtek 8500, and i-mate Smartflip. ...
